The lab

The Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory (HCI Lab) of the University of Udine was founded in 1998, by prof. Luca Chittaro. We carry out multidisciplinary research projects at the intersection of Computer Science, Psychology, and Neuroscience. Our mission is to study new ways to interact with technologies and how they can improve society and people's lives, with a particular focus on Virtual Reality, Mobile Apps, Gamification and Serious Games. We leverage their potential to develop novel applications, especially in Health and Safety.
