About the Lab
In 1998, prof. Luca Chittaro founded the Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory (HCI Lab) at the Department of Math and Computer Science of the University of Udine. The HCI Lab focuses on new interaction paradigms to be used with emerging technologies, such as Mobile Devices and Services, Web3D, Virtual Reality, and Computer-supported Cooperative Work. Besides doing research, the Lab develops applications in domains such as Aerospace, Medicine, Tourism, Training, and the Web. The HCI Lab is often featured on TV and press reports.
