Videogames that adapt to the player's heart rate

This video shows a couple of videogames we created using the system described in this paper. Wearing a pulseoxymeter sensor on the ear to measure heart rate and a body acceleration sensor around the chest, users control these games by carrying out fitness exercises. The games continuously adjust their speed based on the sensed heart rate of the user, so that the intensity of the required physical exercises is optimal with respect to the user's age, gender, and fitness state.
