People tend to believe that, in the event of a plane crash, all passengers are going to die. In fact, you can survive the vast majority of aircraft accidents. An important action that every passenger should be familiar with is to assume an appropriate "Brace position" before an impact occurs.
"Learn to Brace" is an app, created by the Human-Computer Interaction Lab at the University of Udine to illustrate in a simple and intuitive way a brace position. The position shown is optimized as the latest tests conducted by researchers at the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration suggest (see bibliography below).
Attention: the ideas and suggestions contained in the "Learn to Brace" app and in this page are NOT intended as a substitute for the information provided by the airline you are flying with and its crew members. When you are on a plane, always follow strictly all the instructions provided by the airline and its crew members.
You understand and agree that the creators and developers of this app shall NOT be liable or responsible for any damages whether direct or indirect, material or immaterial, arising from the use or inability to use the app itself (for more details, please read the Terms and Conditions of Use.
